On 7th November, State Duma deputy Alina Kabaeva paid a regular working visit to Nizhnekamsk. During her trip she spoke at an official meeting of the local branch of the United Russia party and the All-Russian People’s Front, in which the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, also took part. Afterwards, Alina held a surgery for voters in the local branch office of the United Russia party.

RF State Duma Deputy Alina Kabaeva was elected as a deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for the All-Russian United Russia political party (Republic of Tatarstan) in December 2007. She is responsible for the Nizhnekamsk municipal district. Alina is the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma’s Youth Affairs Committee and a member of the United Russia fraction.
